We are a small hostel with shared facilities. Our rooms & rates are based on a nightly rate per person per bed & include linen (duvet, sheets, pillow and pillow case). Prices are in NZD$ and inclusive of GST (tax).
Check ins after 4.00pm will be emailed arrival instructions.
We have an outdoor area with a garden, picnic tables, and hammocks. Inside you can enjoy our book exchange in the computer room.
A family must book the whole dorm to them selves if the children are under 17 years of age. This means paying for all beds that are not used in that dorm. We do not allow 16 years and under to share the dorms with other guests. We highly recommend booking your family into our private rooms.
We cannot guarantee that guests from a group booking will be in the same room or any booking will be in the same room for the duration of the stay, but we do our best to keep everyone together. At the time of booking we charge the credit card for the first night – this confirms the booking.
We will fully refund if you cancel your booking 48 hours prior to your arrival. A no show will be charged balance of 1 night or 50% of entire booking whichever is the greater. Please read the rest of our hostel policies.
Parking in our off street parking is very limited & not guaranteed. On-street parking is also available. Do not leave valuables in your car and keep it locked. Security cameras are located throughout the hostel and in the car park. We have a bike shed that everyone is welcome to use; do not leave bikes unlocked.

Still a little confused? Don’t worry, we have put together lots of information about whats on in Christchurch, how to get to and from the hostel, booking bus tours & hire cars, surf snow & weather reports as well as where to go and what to do in our awesome city.
I liked their own style of the hostel. It has a backyard, a TV room very nice, but the computer room with a small library was the best part in my opinion. The rooms are good too. Each bed has their own light attached to the wall and a pocket where you can save your belongings.
The staff are super helpful & amazing. The location is quite good, walking distance to city centre & many tourist attractions as well. Definitely recommend for solo travelers. Thanks.
Friendly people, meet backpackers from around the world and big kitchen area to cook and congregate, well kept, safe.
